Signs of the Times
Where do we go from here?
(cont. from p.6)
Christ. We strive to stay in communion and in fellowship with the Lord continuously. We hold these things in our conscious or subconscious minds at all times.
So to speak, if it is not on the front burner of our hearts, it is on the back burner. It is never off the stove.
From this a double benefit is derived. The Lord is glorified and pleased because He made man that He might have fellowship with him. So, God feels honored and is highly pleased. Then, as never before, man is delighted and relieved because he has the burden of his sins replaced by the righteousness of Christ. Life has never been so enjoyable because he lives his life in constant fellowship with God receiving all the incomprehensible benefits and blessings which that entails. This is what Jesus called the abundant life.
Repentance requires one turn away from sin and turn toward the good things which are to replace those sins. What kinds of
things does one who repents turn toward? Of course, the quick answer to this is the doing of the will of God. What kinds of
things are in the will of God? Besides maintaining a close and intimate relationship with God, we are to hallow His name and
honor and esteem Him. We are to engage ourselves in the building of His Kingdom by winning people to Christ. Lots of
improvements need to be made and can be made in these areas of each Christian's undertakings.
At this point, many Christians are barren and fruitless not having won many, if any, people to the Lord. To succeed at this,
they need help and guidance. They are not happy that they do not feel confident trying to fulfill the Great Commission
personally. They would like to know that they can have success as they move about in the world witnessing to lost people and winning and baptizing them for the sake of the Lord and His Kingdom. Up until now, this has not been the experience of many, many Christians.
Global Ventures for Christ has, as one of its chief purposes, assisting Christians with the means and the know-how to carry out their God-given assignment to where success in winning others to Christ is made possible and much easier. Then, as they begin to fulfill their assignments and succeed in winning people to Christ, they begin to be exceedingly thrilled in their walk with the Lord and their lives are filled with greater joy than they have ever known previously.
So now, with great anticipation and expectancy , let's advance to Venture One.
