The author of this document and the administrator of the web page "GLOBAL VENTURES FOR CHRIST" is Jim Edwards, who has been working on Christian Renewal for some forty years. His goal is not fame nor fortune but to be pleasing to the Lord and helpful to the people of the world.
As quickly as it is feasible, the key leadership positions will be filled by capable people, mostly laymen, who will be excellent representatives of the grass roots, known as the salt of the earth and the light of the world, serving as the chief participants and supporters of this Christian movement.
A WORD FROM JIM EDWARDS
It has been an indescribable pleasure to sense the leadership of the Lord in my life as He has been inspiring me and informing me concerning the need for Christian Renewal and the ways and means to achieve it. For more than four decades, I have been conscious of His touch and tug to move me into a position and provide me with the help of special people and the tools
needed to share the thoughts that have been laid upon my heart concerning revival in our times.
My heart and conscience bearing me witness, I feel deeply moved, led and compelled to share these thoughts with you, now, by means of the internet. Bearing the title, "Global Ventures For Christ," this is the results and culmination of my study, contemplation and prayerful communion with the Lord to grasp what He would have us do to honor, follow and obey Him to the end that we might experience a great spiritual awakening in our World.
Even though I have put into practice personally what I have written, I do not feel I have done all I am supposed to do. I am deeply aware and conscious of my own personal inadequacy to reach all the people that need to be reached who are desperate to hear the message contained in this document.
I feel deeply led by the Lord to ask for your assistance. Will you partner with me as a participant in these important endeavors and will you use your influence to help enlist others to participate with us? Exponential growth can be experienced rapidly if we act now
and give the Lord our best in promoting His great Cause upon the earth. A tremendous impact can be made immediately on the world as we work together and enlist other participants to work with us in discovering and performing the will of God in our lives.
Consider these truisms. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. No additional effort, no right to expect any improvements. If we do not get involved and follow the Lord's leadership, our world, which is already in travail, will face an uncertain tomorrow. The mothers upon this earth will testify that once travail begins, the pain grows rapidly and more intense. Unless some changes take place and improvements are made in our world, no one, absolutely no one is going to like the consequences.
Is it logical and is it just to say, if we have an opportunity to make improvements and we don't take advantage of that opportunity, then,we deserve the consequences, what ever they are? Our day to act is now. Time is of the essence. As you become a participant, bring several people along with you. Let's have a great time serving together and let's esteem and glorify the Lord greatly. Amen.
