1. Thou shalt have no other commitments before thee.
2. Thou shalt memorize thy music.
3. Thou shalt have a perfect horn angle.
4. Honor thy section leader and thy drum major.
5. Thou shalt always roll step.
6. Thou shalt never face the backfield.
7. Thou shalt not put thy heel down when marching backwards.
8. Thou shalt always have eyes with pride.
9. Thou shalt not covet the melody.
10. Thou shalt not argue with the band director.

"Know thou these 10 commandments, so thou shalt live long and prosper in the Marching Band program."
