Below are websites I have either created or participated in. Links and a short description of my role in each site are included.

Coldwater Creek Neighborhood

Coldwater Creek Neighborhood website screenshot

I created this website after hearing bits of neighborhood news after the fact so that my other neighbors could be up-to-date as soon as everyone else was.

The website uses a photo I took of a local creek in the header, and incorporate(d) a WordPress blog styled to look the same as the rest of the website. In addition, photos could be emailed to me through the contact form.

My Role: Web site designer/owner, developed graphics and web page code. Since I moved from the neighborhood, the site is no longer live.

Design It!

Design It! website screenshot

This website allows www.GoToMyCard.com customers to customize credit cards with their chosen photo.

The original website was designed by one of the application developers, then I redesigned the entire site with modern code and graphics (I created all of the "step" graphics on the main page). I was requested to redesign the site again in 2013 in order to remove Flash elements that had been main elements of the site (replaced with images and JQuery slider).

My Role: Web site designer, graphic designer, repurposed approved images for current design.

Town North Bank

Town North Bank website screenshot

Town North Bank was purchased by another business. They have created their own website, consequently this web site is no longer available for viewing.

When I began working here in 2008, the people in charge of "Bank" marketing had contracted and paid for a third party to create a new website. The design for the new website was completed but never implemented.

Using the creative elements I was provided (Photoshop files and a few web pages) I created the new website. Tasteful use of Flash motion elements complement the original design.

This website marks my first use of ASP .Net. The site is displayed using master pages and user controls (center navigation boxes and footers).

Please view a screenshot of the Town North Bank web site

My Role: Implemented the web site that was designed by another firm, created, updated and optimized some of the graphics in use, created several Flash movies that were in use on the site. Added several UI items such as the ability to choose different systems with descriptions, Treasury management info elements and "Gift Card" pop-up element on the main page.

GoToMyCard

GoToMyCard.com website screenshot

This site provides clients the ability to view and manage their own credit card account. The look is generic so that branding can be customized for each credit union customer.

My Role: In 2019, I completely redesigned this website to have a new look and feel and remade all the underlying code to use Bootstrap. I also did research into ADA compliance issues in order to make it as compliant as possible. I customize each client's CSS files and recreate/resize logos and header/footer background images (if required) for each client so their customers see their financial institution's branding when they click through in order to manage their credit card account.

The live website requires a login; however, I have recreated the shell of the site so you can look inside - no login required!

Here are a few screenshot samples of branded websites I created -

Worldpay VIP (formerly Vantiv)

VIP/Client Center website screenshot

Client portal web site where Worldpay's credit union clients can obtain marketing materials, banking and regulatory information, and much more. The site is now accessible only to clients with a security certificate.

My Role: I changed the original web site from an old table-driven layout to a modern layout, and updated the menu system to improve clients ability to find information - thi is what the site looked like before Vantiv's purchase by Worldpay when I could still access the site externally. The site is now accessible only to clients with a security certificate, but I have provided limited screenshots of what some of the internal pages looked like - please click the links below to see them.

Dr. Annette Van Natta

Dr. Van Natta's website screenshot

Irving, Texas dentist, general dentistry.

Dr. Van Natta needed a website to direct patients for information, download forms and contact her with questions. I designed all aspects of this website. The web page colors are based on her office colors.

My Role: Web site designer, created all graphics, Flash virtual tour, also acted as a web consultant to resolve some domain issues that were preventing use of the previous web site.

NOTE: This site was recently taken over by another provider.

Bowie Volunteers Football

Original Bowie Volunteers Football website screenshot

Bowie High School Volunteers Football Boosters.

I was approached about redesigning the Bowie Volunteers football booster website after they had seen the marching band site I created. Their site was very basic, only containing scheduling information and forms for the team.

I worked with a football booster member to get the content they desired, then created a few test layouts for their consideration. I continued to develop the present design, grouping and organizing the information they had displayed. I used photos from a few football games as inspiration for the design. This link goes to my original design, and has been updated with more modern code.

My Role: Designed graphics and web page code. Redesigned and reorganized the site, created all graphics and UI elements. The football boosters were to maintain the site themselves.

Bowie Band

Original Bowie Marching Band website screenshot

Bowie High School Marching Band in Arlington, Texas.

A band booster asked for volunteers who could maintain the band website. The original design was all on one page, no navigation or organization.

I redesigned and reorganized the site, added flash animation and a horizontal drop-down menu to the top. I also added a Guest book and wrote a PERL program to display student birthdays on the main page and in a separate "Birthdays" web page using fields in a small flat file database. Other features include the ability to customize the main page with your name, custom Javascript archive page navigation. I maintained the site for 8 years before retiring my webmaster duties; the site itself no longer exists. The link here goes to my original design which has been updated with more modern code and made responsive as well. Flash animation in the header has been replaced with CSS animation.

My Role: Webmaster. Redesigned and reorganized the site, created all graphics and UI elements, wrote program to display birthdays, implemented a mailing list program and a guest book.

The band is gone and the live website no longer exists so this off-line copy is available in order to view the design, plus you can download the songs from the projects we recorded, hear a few radio interviews and see a never before released music video.

My Role: Web designer. I created all aspects of the web site. This was my very first website, so it's been brought up-to-date several times. Recently updated for newer HTML code, better layout and responsiveness.
