2005 Vacation

We went on one of the best vacations this year. I decided we would look at the map, see what we wanted to visit and drive there (as long as it was within a days' drive). We went to Carlsbad Caverns, NM, Santa Fe, NM, Bandelier National Monument, NM, up to Colorado Springs, CO.

At a location due west of Colorado Springs I had found a place to go horseback riding in the mountains (which was AWEsome!). Visited the Molly Kathleen Gold Mine in Cripple Creek, CO (went 1,000ft underground into the mine shafts) then returned to Colorado Springs where we walked around Garden of the Gods with Aunt Libbe and Uncle Mike. Visited Uncle J-me and Aunt Lisa in Dacono, CO.
