Vantiv, Dallas, Texas 2010 to present
Title: Web Designer
Job Description: Vantiv, formerly Fifth Third Processing Solutions. I provide web design services and graphics for clientcenter.tnbcard.com, www.gotomycard.com and designit.gotomycard.com. For www.gotomycard.com, I customize web sites for financial institutions that join Vantiv to be able to provide credit card ordering and processing services through their web site.
Job Highlights:
- Create customized web sites for www.gotomycard.com clients. Vantiv has created a web site template for www.gotomycard.com. For a fee, customers can request the template to be customized for their business. My role is to match the customer's web site within the limits of the template and management restraints by creating a style sheet that places design elements provided by the customer or created by me within the framework of our template. I also customize their mobile web site experience. A few samples of custom web sites: TDECU. Mobile Oil FCU, Neches FCU, Shell FCU, GESA CU, Houston Police FCU, Texas Tech FCU and Texas Trust CU.
- Client center web site redesign. I recently completed the redesign of clientcenter.tnbcard.com past the login page due to Vantiv's recent name change and new marketing direction.
- "Design It!" web site redesign. I completed the redesign of this web site early December of 2011. "Design It!" is a service located at designit.gotomycard.com where customers may customize the appearance of their credit card by uploading a photo. (The new site should be live soon)
- Marketing. I am occasionally required by Vantiv marketing to create static and animated banner ads for placement on Credit Union Times (www.cutimes.com), and as free downloadable assets for Vantiv customers who visit clientcenter.tnbcard.com

Town North Bank, Dallas, Texas 2008 to 2010
Title: Web Designer
Job Description: I maintained several public-facing web sites: www.tnbonline.com, www.townnorthbank.com, www.tnbcard.com, www.gotomycard.com and apply.gotomycard.com. For each web site, I established publishing guidelines and standards for web site organization, functionality and layout, and created new web pages, graphics and Flash or .gif animations as necessary. I made decisions on the technology used within the sites and maintained control over content appearance, subject to approval by the web site owners.
On a weekly basis, I updated investment rates for www.tnbonline.com. On a daily basis I completed work order requests as they arrived and assisted users with any web site needs, created email forms complete with Javascript validation and created promotional ads as requested by either marketing department. Every day I also kept myself abreast of new web design methodology and best practices by reading several web design blogs. I acted as web consultant for both marketing departments.
Job Highlights:
- I implemented a web site design for www.tnbonline.com that was created by a third party before I was hired.
- I created UI widgets for the main page of www.tnbonline.com and left-side navigation .Net user controls that appear on subsequent web pages.
- I created and installed an improved navigation interface for www.tnbcard.com client center (now clientcenter.tnbcard.com since the purchase of TNB Card Services by Fifth Third Processing Solutions) using css flyout menus that resulted in easier site navigation for all clients.
- I worked with TNB developers to create a web site with centrally-located client customization (www.gotomycard.com). Each client sees their logo or banner when they connect to the web site, and all rate and disclosure info come from a centralized source. This replaced an older web site and saved hours of update work then being performed by the web site administrator.
Skills Required: (Primary skills) HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash, web page design and layout, Photoshop, (secondary skills) Illustrator, Javascript, JQuery, classic ASP, ASP .Net using Visual Studio.
