What She Wrote
Debbie Muncrief - CHS, 1978/1979 (my senior year)
In my Senior Memories book, Debbie wrote the following:"Kelley,"
"What am I supposed to put in this? That we spent your whole senior year together? That we deserved our furpiece award? That you absolutely made my only sophomore year despite the conflicting opinions of my friends. This has been a hard year for me what with Cindy, my mom, moving out, being in C-band and trying to deal with Barbera Jo but you got me through it all. and what would have been the most hellacious year of my life has been one of the best I'll probably ever have, at least until I see you again."
"I'm sorry I was such a bitch about your Air Force deal but it's hard to let go especially when your a dumb-ass sophomore like me. I'm sorry I mentioned Joel so much when you obviously were hurting alot more than I was due to Desirae. This year you and me have become quite famous all over school due to various sundry reasons. We have enough private jokes about us to start our own joke book."
"We had a blast in band and I loved being proud of my boyfriend who was in A-band when I was in C-band."
"I know you think that I minded you never having the car or never having any money to take me out but that didn't matter because you always called me and always tried to see me. I wanna thank you for understanding about my pills, my mom, etc. I can't believe we lasted this long and that the year has gone so fast. I don't know what's in store for me now whether it be you or whatever but I hope you do real good as an airman and you better make me proud of you."
"I hope your senior year was pretty good despite me and my problems. I wish you the best of luck and you know of course that I'm behind you all the way."
"Thanks for being you."
"Love you,"
"Debbie (your once esteemed girlfriend)"
